Fashion Icon or Fashion Aikhona Part 1

Titled best female hip-hop rapper in the moment, currently she has little or no competition (for competitors we might have to look at Missy Elliot, Salt 'n Pepper's heydays). Trinidad-born rapper Nicki Minaj  who moved to Queens, United States at the age of 5-years, is on a  level of her own.

Before even releasing her multi-platinum album Pink Friday she had featured in a number of Billboard charting hits, along side the likes of Mariah Carey, Eminem, Ludacris, but on  Kanye West's Monster along side hip hop 'heavy weights' Jay-Z, Rick Ross, she killed it she left fan wanting more .

Fans are intrigued by her style of rapping; zipping back and forth between double time and half speed, switching accents from patois to Queens to creepy-innocent-little-girl, all in the space of two lines.

She is considered 'dope' by most hip hop acts and fans, but we are not sure about her fashion sense.
she came into the industry with a bang with an into-your-face attitude, fashion style and hair.

Although sometimes one wonders as to what is going on in her head, we sure know whatever it is, it sure must be very COLOURFUL.

Never hard to miss, with her colourful weaves. . .

You can decide for yourself whether she is a Fashion Icon or Fashion Aikhona never the less we can never take away from the rapper success, and proud to call her a sister who kicks a**. . .
