I choose to do a speech by a women speaking about empowering women because I am a young black South African women who is still trying to her feet in the world.
I am still finding my purpose in this male dominated world. Where women are abused and killed. I also believe in ending that mentality that women are inferior to men.
“Average woman in South Africa is more likely to get raped than to complete her studies, shocking,” said Mamphele Ramphele.
Women need to empower each although this is a ‘cliché’ I feel there is more to be done.
What was challenging about this assignment was people feel it is a cliché to talk about women empowerment but I do not feel that way, my theory is here in South Africa we will not stop empowering women until we are governed by one.
Whether that will happen in maybe 20 years to come or not it still needs to happen, women governing the country will mean a women looking after women and children with laws behind it that matter.
